ISO 9606 / ISO 14732
EN ISO 9606 and EN ISO 14732 define qualification requirements for welders and welding operators. The module explains essential variables, test pieces, qualification ranges, validity and continuity.

A welder qualification is valid only within its qualified range: process, weld type, material, thickness, diameter, position, filler material and joint details. A more demanding test often qualifies easier positions, but not the reverse.
