Reliable NDT requires certified personnel, an approved procedure, suitable technique, verified equipment and correct acceptance criteria. A Level 2 card alone is not universal authority for every method, product and decision.

Does the certificate cover the method, sector and level required for the task, and has the employer issued valid authorisation for its procedure and equipment?

Performance, interpretation, evaluation and approval are different competences.

The employer is responsible for job authorisation and system knowledge.
