Standards are not a list to memorise. For an IWE, it is essential to know which standard covers the quality system , which covers welding procedure qualification , which covers welder qualification , which covers weld imperfections and which covers testing and examination . This module is designed as a practical map from customer requirements through to release of the welded product. Standards are identified by their European designation— EN ISO or EN —where applicable.
